Southwest Florida's Largest Bridal Show

To contact us Click HERE
The Hilton Naples Wedding Blog recently revealed that between Thanksgiving and Valentines Day over 1 million men will pop the question; this is the time 40% of engagements take place.
Free Admission for Brides-To-Be
Are you one of the million lucky girls that said yes this past engagement season?  Wondering what to do next and where to start with the planning?

The Hilton Naples Wedding team will be attending Southwest Florida's Largest Bridal Show on Sunday February 19th.  This is a great place for you to save time & money by meeting face-to-face with wedding professionals to get ideas and keep updated on the latest trends.

Here are our Top 5 Tips to help you get the most out of attending a bridal show:

1)  Know what vendors you still need. (Hint: If you still need a venue, stop by the Hilton Naples exhibit)

2)  Contact info labels - Most exhibitors will often have drawings for prizes at their booths. To prevent having writers cramp at the end of the show prepare some electronic labels before the bridal show with your name, address phone number, email address and wedding date.  Consider setting up & using a separate bridal email account to use while planning your wedding. This can keep all the follow up emails and contact information in one location.

3)  Know your budget - Knowing your wedding budget and who is responsible for each item will help you with your decision making while you attend.

4)  Bring a camera - Bringing a camera will help you remember things you saw at the show. Here a few a few of you may consider to take a picture of: dresses during the fashion show, centerpiece/floral designs, table settings and cake designs.

5)  Bring a few of your own peeps with you - Bringing your fiancée, maid or matron/bridesmaids, mom or friends to the bridal show to help you locate the vendors you need to secure, they can save you seats for the fashion show while you are meeting with vendors and talk about wedding ideas with each other.

Most of all, Enjoy yourself! Use this time to gather information and enjoy any of the special offers extended to you. You are the Bride!
Don't forget to stop by the Hilton Naples Wedding both and say hi to Electa!

Don't forget to read the awesome article in Occassions Magazine featuring the beautiful wedding photography of Maria Angela from our December Newlyweds: Hilton Naples wedding in Occassions Magazine

Half a century ago today, on April 26,1962, Lockheed Test Pilot Lou Schalk eased Article 121 into the cool crisp air of Groom Lake, Nevada. The flight duration was only forty minutes, logofifty years ago, but aviation history made a great leap that day. Under the direction of Kelly Johnson, Lockheed’s famous Skunk Works first A-12 flight set the stage for the revolutionary high speed, high altitude records that followed. The OXCART Program was a joint operation of the CIA, USAF and Lockheed Corporation along with a host of corporations that developed special equipment and programs for the A-12 and YF-12. Event consulting, creative services biz launched by film fest founder Ron Kaplan
at Mutual Concerns of Air & Space Museums Conference
(Washington, D.C. – April 26, 2012)  Ron Kaplan, creator of the critically acclaimed Reel Stuff Film Festival of Aviation, announced a new consulting business offering a full range of festival production and media support services to air and space museums as well as filmmakers. Reel Stuff Aviation Resources LLC and its website, www.reelstufffilmfest.com, were formally launched today at the opening of the 2012 Mutual Concerns of Air & Space Museums Conference, hosted by the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum April 26-29th.Reel Stuff Aviation Resources LLC offers non-profit museums of any size an array of consulting packages enabling them to produce and promote their own Reel Stuff Film Festival of Aviation, be it a 1-day event or full 3-day weekend of theater screenings and activities.  Reel Stuff is created around a customized lineup of aviation-centric films that each are screened by the writer, director, actor, aerial coordinator or someone else directly affiliated with the film's production.  Each screening is then followed by a question-and-answer session with that film's presenter, offering festival patrons a personal "behind the scenes" perspective. Kaplan's vast network of international filmmakers and cinema historians provides Reel Stuff clients a broad range of world-class projects from which to choose, typically a mix of classic films, contemporary features, documentaries, short subjects and broadcast productions.  Often, projects seen at Reel Stuff have yet to be publicly screened anywhere else, sometimes presented at a "rough cut" stage of completion. As a uniquely high-profile, mission-relevant festival experience, Reel Stuff is especially attractive to sponsors, donors and stakeholders, offering additional value as a fundraising auction, raffle or gala platform. Also serving as an arts and education program, a Reel Stuff Film Fest presents its host multiple opportunities to showcase the value of its organization to a wider community audience, plus benefit through attracting and collaborating with new partners such as colleges, media outlets and civic venues.  Dayton-based Kaplan is a noted aviation artist, writer and photographer, and both former Development and Executive Director at the non-profit National Aviation Hall of Fame.  He founded and directed the inaugural "Reel Stuff Film Festival of Aviation" in 2008, successfully producing two more, in 2009 and 2010.  Among the many acclaimed presenters at the initial Reel Stuff festivals were Academy Award-winning actor Cliff Robertson (633 Squadron, The Pilot), aerial cinematographer Clay Lacy (Top Gun, Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag), producer Catherine Wyler (Memphis Belle), and producer/director/writer Nikolai Muellerschoen (Der Rote Baron – its North American premier screened at the 2009 Reel Stuff).Reel Stuff Aviation Resources LLC additionally offers entertainment professionals with creative and promotional support, project design development and script review, content research, and on-camera talent, among other aviation, non-profit, and media-related services and guidance. For more information please visit www.reelstufffilmfest.com.  To contact Ron Kaplan, email director@reelstufffilmfest.com or call (937) 212-8847.
