Naples Florida has long been known for it's beautiful beaches and charming appeal. It is also being recognized as a small town alive with lots of arts and culture. Naples already has been honored with being named one of the #1 Top 100 Best Art Towns in America by author and art critic, John Villani and as one of "The Top 25 Cities for Art" in American Style magazine.

Most recently, Naples Florida was featured in The 20 Best Small Towns in America by Smithsonian Magazine in their May 2012 issue.  Per the article, to create the list, the magazine researched cities for their high concentrations of museums, historic sites, botanic gardens, resident orchestras, art galleries and other cultural assets common to big cities...however, they focused on towns with populations less than 25,000 (Naples population is 19,500), so travelers could experience what might be called enlightened good times in an unhurried, charming setting.

According to the United Arts Council, the offical Local Arts Agency for Collier County,  the local arts community of Naples consists of 59 nonprofit cultural groups, 100+ galleries, 500+ artists & entertainers, thousands of art-lovers.

Naples has designated the month of November as Celebrate the Arts Month in which a spectacular array of the arts happen in every venue.  Live Performances, free concerts, festivals, galleries, musicians and artists all unite to celebrate the vibrant arts & culture Naples offers.

The Hilton Naples Hotel is centrally located within a five mile radius of most major art venues including The Philharmonic, Naples Zoo, Naples Players, von Liebig Art Center, Naples Museum of Art and the Design District of Naples.
