CityFest is off to a rocking start following theirsignature Sip of Fifth event on Friday night. I was able to join in the festivities and there was no lack ofattendance. Great music on every corner - I had the pleasure of absorbing itall while dining at Ristorante D'Angeli on Fifth Avenue South. We loved thegreat band (sorry I didn't get their name) just outside the restaurant as my 5month old daughter took it all in with shiny wide eyes and an occassionalone-toothed grin.What I enjoyed most about the event was watching the peopledancing in the streets from young in age to young at heart.Looking ahead at their agenda, a couple of great upcomingevents in downtown Naples Florida:
Wednesday, 5/9 -Palette to Palate at Crayton covewelcomes everyone to enjoy six studio galleries that will have their doors wideopen with pleasure. In betweengalleries, enjoy special menu offerings from Bleu Provence, Chez Boet and theDock Restaurants from 5:30-9:00pm

Saturday, 5/12 - The 36th Annual running of the GreatDock Canoe Race kicks off from 11:00am-3:00pm. Join residents and visitors alike to this fun, unique event that kicks off near the Dock Restaurant in Crayton Cove. This year's theme is "Animal House" so you can be on seeingsome very colorful & imaginatively decorated canoes and participants.
